Dr. Chimenti's practice focuses on brain tumors, complex spinal surgery, stereotactic radiosurgery, arteriovenous malformations, and trigeminal neuralgia.  He uses a variety of new technology, including minimal invasive spinal techniques, intraoperative image guidance for tumor surgery, and a state-of-the-art linear accelerator for stereotactic radiosurgery.

Chief of Neuro-surgery at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville and in practice for more than twelve years, Dr. Chimenti says that what sets his practice apart from others "is the amount of time that my partner and I spend with patients. We don't use nurse practitioners or physician assistant, so every office and hospital interaction is with one of us."

Dr. Di Stefano was born and raised in Montreal, Canada.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at McGill University and he completed a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology at Drexel University.  He attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia where he obtained his doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.

Dr. Di Stefano completed a three year Podiatric Medical and Surgical training at Virtua Health System in southern New Jersey. During his residency, he completed a pediatric surgical reconstruction training course in Guatemala. The doctor is Board Qualified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Di Stefano is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Society, the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Edelman was born and raised in Long Island.  He attended Princeton University where he majored in Biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  He attended New York University Medical School where he graduated with Honors in Pathology.

Dr. Edelman completed a two year general surgery residency at Albert Einstein/Montefiore, followed by a four year residency in Otolaryngology at D.C. Children's Hospital in Washington, D.C.

He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.  Dr. Edelman is also a Fellow of the Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.  He has also been named a "Top Doctor" by multiple by multiple publications including New York Magazine, New Jersey Monthly, and Top Doctors in the New York Metropolitan Area.

Dr. El-Saheli received his Bachelor of Science in biology with honors from Bloomfield College of New Jersey.  He attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated Cum Laude receiving his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. El-Saheli completed his residency at Hoboken University Medical Center.  There, he received extensive training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, trauma surgery and pediatric reconstructive surgery.  He also has obtained certification in ankle arthroscopy.

Dr. El-Saheli is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.  He is an associate member of the America College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is Board Certified.

Dr. Francesco was born and raised in central New Jersey.  He attended Montclair State College where he majored in Biology.  He attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, and graduated with academic honors ranking fifth in his class.

Dr Francesco completed a three year Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency in the Northern Virginia area.  He has also completed a post-graduate training program in lower extremity reconstruction and diabetic limb salvage at Georgetown University Hospital.

Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the America Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. Francesco is also a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Sudha Nahar completed her training in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.

She worked with Dr. K. Das for a year at Crohn’s and Colitis Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) , New Brunswick followed by fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at UMDNJ – RWJMS – New Brunswick, NJ in June of 2003.

Dr. Nahar has been involved in general research projects both as an investigator and co-investigator particularly pertaining to Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s disease, Das Antibody and Barrett’s esophagus.

She is currently on staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ and Saint Peters University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Nahar practices in the Somerset area and is available for office and hospital consultations.

Dr. Patel was born in London, England and raised in Melbourne, FL.  He attended The University of Florida, where he graduated Cum Laude earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Sciences.  Dr. Patel then attended The Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences in Miami Shores, FL, where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.

Dr. Patel completed a three year podiatric surgical residency at Bon Secors New Jersey Health Systems in Central New Jersey.  He received extensive surgical training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including trauma surgery, diabetic limb salvage and pediatric reconstruction. During his residency Dr. Patel completed a certification in Foot and Ankle Arthroscopy Surgery and Extra Corporeal Shockwave Therapy.

Dr. Patel is a member of The America Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. and as of July 30, 2009, Dr. Patel is Board Certified for Foot & Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Petruzzella is a graduate of Montclair State College and the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine.  He completed his post graduate surgical training at the Peninsula General Hospital In New York.

Dr. Petruzzella is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the America Board of Podiatric Surgery.  He holds a Fellowship in the America College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, is a member of the American Podiatric Medical society, and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Association.

He serves as the assistant Chief of Podiatry at St. Mary's Hospital where he is also part of the teaching faculty and a member of the Podiatric Residency Committee. Dr. Petruzzella's caring nature adds a special dimension to his expertise.

Dr. Rachana Purohit graduated from Rutgers University and attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Purohit completed her Residency at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY and went on to do a 12 month Clinical Limb Deformity Reconstruction Fellowship at Sinai Health Systems in Baltimore, MD

A talented young oncology surgeon, Dr. Seenivasan uses cutting-edge technology to provide the highest level of cancer care, and is gratified to be named a New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor so early in his career.  Specializing in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
